How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Care UK?

Pros

The commitment to training staff is better than any other company I have worked with previously. The people and teams are one of the best aspects of working at Care UK. Also, the work itself can be very rewarding.

Cons

Teams are run very lean with a poor work-life balance. Senior leadership don't tend to genuinely engage with their teams, they spend more time talking at them instead of listening and getting a realistic picture of hard work and dedication folks put in 5-7 days a week.

Pros

None but 5 times over

Are transfers to other offices possible with Care UK?

Pros

Amazing colleagues who do their best. Being a care assistant is a worthwhile and meaningful occupation. Excellent work availability. Good opportunities to progress in your career.

Cons

The company cares more for profit than for care (hence why they make so much) . Organisation is not a thing. Hard working staff taken for granted. Some senior managment can be extremely rude and degrading. Training can take a while. The company may offer opportunities but their ethics are sometimes questionable. Wages should be higher.

Advice to Management

Staff work best when their morale is boosted, not when their hard work is ignored.

The company may offer opportunities but their ethics are sometimes questionable.
