Does Baker Tilly Canada offer parental leave?

Pros

It seemed like a good place to work when I was in the office and help was present. They were pretty good with work hours too.

Cons

Started during Covid Lockdown, no existing workplace relationships with anyone, makes it hard to know who is the best to ask questions to. My 'mentor' went on maternity leave about 3 months into my internship leaving me feeling stranded. Some days I looked at my project and was just like "what the f***", but it's hard to word that professionally in a teams message to someone you've never met before in real life.

Advice to Management

Don't hire 1 intern and then lock them away in an office by themselves and then wonder why they don't "ask questions" when after an 8 month period they still haven't even met everyone who works in the small office. I think they were aware of this, but too short staffed to do anything about it, and Covid compounded the situation.
