No breaks, 30 minute lunch only, hostile work environment, underpaid but overworked supervisors, no training platform, upper management has unrealistic expectations of supervisors and make rules as they go without regard to the supervisors increasing the micromanagement of the 6 warehouse workers per shift, lot of finger pointing, zero accountability for irresponsible warehouse directing of the management team. Shipping takes priority, leaving receiving and inventory on the back burner. Inventory is a mess that everyone will get blamed for and yet there is still no solution to the problem. No support system, can't miss a day of work without getting called into the office for disciplinary action; even with a doctor note. Supervisors were treated like doormats by both the upper management team and the employees. Extremely high turnover rate.

Advice to Management

Take a look a those that make the decisions of the building, get support systems in place for the supervisors because those are the people held responsible for the misguidance or lack of direction from upper management. Provide training mediums, IT support on site, get inventory in order, allow more than just 1 break being the lunch break for anything over 8 hours, stop finger pointing and accept accountability for lack of direction, training, and support to supervisors.

Pros

Anatolia has done a great job implementing lots of new tools for the HR department. They have been doing surveys for the employees in the last couple years now and try to improve according to the feedback received. They have worked on their benefits program as well. The HR overall department has improved a lot in the last couple years, and it’s made a big difference. The company is also working on training and manuals for new employees.

Hard to recruit people because of the location of the warehouse.

Advice to Management

Employee surveys are the best tools to understand what people are wanting. This process should continue every year.

They are top in their industry. Some people are really nice and work hard. Free parking. Cover from the elements.

Most 5 start reviews are fake. I'm amazed that HR is playing that game. This place is as toxic as it can get. I can not express in words how happy I am after leaving this place. Only 10 vacation days. Below average salary. They have spy software installed on all computers because they trust no one! WFH policy is a joke. So forget about working from home. Some areas are very understaffed. Turnover is extremely high. For ownership you are not good enough. You will not be valued in this company. All employees have to tap in, timed, just like in a 3rd world country factory. No training. They cut hours during COVID and employees had to go the office. 3 Sick days, but their policy says that if you use them they can write you up. Given that employees hours where cut during COVID they are now cutting vacation time from those employees. Micromanagement as never seen before. No place to grow. Please do not leave your job to come to this place. You will regret it.

Nothing! they know all of this and refuse to change.

if you are looking to excel in customer service industry, Anatolia offers great opportunity. They have clients all over the world . Dealing with all of them improved my confidence and my ability to learn how to solve problems. The company is a great place to start off once you are off from school . That was my case. I learnt a lot and it prepared me for my next job. When I was ready to move on, I thought I had all the tools with me. I walked in to my next job with confidence. I am happy where I am right now but it was nice to work for Anatolia. great place to start off as a customer service rep. Learning the systems were easy. free lunch once a month
