What is the retirement plan like at Agility PR Solutions?

Pros

If you're starting out the position is great! You get to work with other people in their 20s who are starting out. Everyone is very friendly and supportive so its not like you are competing for business! You are also give plenty of tools to be successful.

Cons

There are a few cons such as no retirement plan. There is constant turn over with the account executives. The work takes form in a hybrid model rather than remote. The base pay is lower than many other comparable companies. There is an extreme lack of diversity.

Does Agility PR Solutions assist with or provide childcare?

Pros

Excellent onboarding & training. Good benefits from day 1. Flexible hours & remote work. Good stack (Salesloft, SFDC, Seamless). You will probably end up making new friends. You will learn a lot and work on your skillset.

Cons

This ended up being a toxic job primarily due to senior sales leadership. Management is exclusively top down and you will be aggressively micromanaged from day 1. They really do not trust their employees nor are you valued. Almost everyone I talked to was drained, unhappy and stressed out. The TURNOVER is very high, every single month someone or 3 drops off due to quitting or being let go. What's hilarious is that they instantly rehire everyone they lose without addressing any root causes. Almost all of the new business is a direct result of marketing/BDR leads and not your own prospecting. Sales leadership controls all of the leads and if they do not like you, or some other arbitrary reason, they will cut you off without a warning or even an explanation. You're pretty much a glorified BDR. If you’re coming here for the $$$ DO NOT, the pay is below average. This is a job where you get to learn and experiment. The rumours are true, NO ONE makes quota here. Not even the top AE's. There are simply way too many AE’s all competing for the same accounts. The MOST you will make is $70ish which is way below the $130k OTE they promise everyone. If you're a Canadian employee, they will ask you to work during Canadian holiday’s.

Advice to Management

Hire managers/leadership who actually care about the employees. Change your arbitrary lead assignment system where you cherry pick who gets what and present this facade to everyone. Clean up massive junk accounts.

Good benefits from day 1.

What kind of career opportunities exist at Agility PR Solutions?

Pros

The pay is decent You have the opportunity to influence processes and make an impact because it is a small company There were good people on my team

Cons

The morale has never been lower at this company after the exodus of AEs during Q2 and Q3, the removal of senior leadership and the lack of vision from the top. You brought and fired 15-20 reps with no plan for training or ramping them properly. You could make the argument that there was no vision to begin with and they are making it up as they go, which would explain why they released a product that had already been on the market for a while with bare functionality and non competitive pricing. What do they talk about during weekly meetings? The amount of calls you are making, person by person. So inspiring! How you should work 60 hours a week to make quota so you can spend a 4 day weekend on the beach once a year. So cool! With the recent changes, the culture at this company is non existent. They don't put a second of thought into whether people actually enjoy being at the company, just about how much they squeeze out of people and work them constantly while pushing below market pay, unrealistic quotas, and poor commission plans on the entire org. The amount of aggression from senior leadership is unreal, while simultaneously spousing half rate sales tactics to close low revenue deals. Your "Hide the price until the very end" is a cheap sales trick any prospect can see through, and then you go back and forth on "discounts" like a used car sales man instead of teaching people how to actually sell on value. You have an unoriginal, stale sales process and value proposition that AEs just go through the motions with while quietly looking for other jobs and venting to their peers. The communication between different teams is non existent as it is "every manager and team for themselves" and they repeatedly show that they don't care if other teams are drowning. Where did siloed information mentality come from? The top. The teams are so stressed with their own quotas, that they won't spend a second helping anyone else. The only functioning team is the UK and ENT because they were able to set up shop before the regime was installed. Marketing is a joke, will always be a joke, they're ineffective at their jobs and should be sacked. If you are reading this and wondering if you should stay at Agility, know that your time will be wasted, as they will fire you or "lay you off" the second the bottom line doesn't look right. Did you do something wrong? They will hold that against you for months on end, and use it as a reason to not promote you. You will literally always be a number to these people and they will never care about you.

Advice to Management

Dissolve the sales organization and admit to yourselves you have a mediocre product in a saturated industry and that you are causing detriment to people's careers. You see people as widgets that you can condescend on and have no humanity in your management process. Don't kid yourself, Agility will never thrive with this leadership and you're all jokes.

Does Agility PR Solutions have any mentoring programs?

Pros

Agility has been an amazing company to work for. There is great support from upper management, a start-up company feel, and numerous avenues to be successful. Some pros are: -Uncapped commission -Great training and support -Hybrid work structure -Realistic quotas -Great company culture

Cons

The only cons I can think of are more related to sales in general. You are rewarded for the work you put in, but a sales career isn't for everyone.

Advice to Management

Continue with what you are doing. The support has been unmatched by any other company I have worked for. Plans are transparent and executed in an organized way. The other thing is to continue to listen to feedback from the team as we continue to grow.

Great training and support
