Current Employee - Software Developer

I have been working at iQmetrix full-time for more than a year

Pros

Flexible work environment, great people, newer software and tools

Cons

No or low quality performance reviews

Current Employee - Anonymous

I have been working at Nudge Rewards full-time for more than a year

Pros

Nudge is one of the best teams I've worked with - full of passion, support, and genuinely amazing individuals. The SLT does a great job of prioritizing transparency and alignment across the business,... which keeps the team constantly challenged, learning, and with an opportunity for input no matter what your title is. Other pros include opportunity for growth, remote-friendly, and fantastic location downtown Toronto.

Cons

Growing pains. As the team continues to expand and the business continues to grow, plans haven't been explicitly shared - however, nothing out of the ordinary for a tech start-up.

Advice to Management

Continue to prioritize culture when expanding and hiring. There is a magic that Nudge has been able to maintain up until this point, and hopefully that will continue as we grow. I'd also... recommend formalizing feedback and reviews. Nudge does an incredible job of recognizing achievements and efforts across the team, however I believe that regular feedback is important for both professional development and hitting business objectives.
