Current Employee - Marketing

I have been working at iQmetrix full-time for more than a year

Pros

- The people. At iQmetrix you are constantly surrounded by the hardest working most passionate people. Their drive motivates you to grow and learn on a daily basis. - The growth opportunities.... iQmetrix is huge on teaching you things you may not know, and if unable to do so internally, they are big proponents on supporting external learning opportunities such as courses and seminars. Leadership is constantly encouraging staff to seek these opportunities. - The culture. It is pretty common knowledge that iQmetrix is a very cool place to work. The perks such as the snacks and drinks readily available, the fun activities planned for team and office bonding, and the initiatives set up to support community organizations make it such a happy environment to be in. - The company values. There is nothing more inspiring and invigorating than working for a company that has healthy and forward-thinking values.

Cons

Especially in comparison to other companies one could work for, iQmetrix excels at so many things.

I have been working at AlayaCare full-time for less than a year

Pros

There are a ton of pros in all aspects of this company. I don't think I could name them all but I will do my best to include the best ones. Management has a true respect for the employees and does... everything they can to ensure we all succeed. There is a very intensive on boarding process, great resources for learning and training. They are very approachable people as well, I have never felt uncomfortable having a conversation with an member of the management here. The teams are structured well, there is clearly a lot of thought that goes into making sure everyone is a good fit for their team. Each team is responsible for something important but its always fair. Alayacare is becoming a large company but you don't feel like a cog in the wheel or overwhelmed but having too much piled on. The market for the product is huge and increasing a lot as time goes on, the job feels very secure as a result. There is also a great opportunity to make a difference in a product that helps a lot of people and will help even more. It is easy to feel good about what you do for a living working here. We have a lot of fun during and after work, people playing games together or just hanging out, it allows people to build good relationships with a lot of people. Its never forced though if its not your thing, there is no problem doing your work and going home. The location and the view are amazing. Right beside the mountain, great food options around, near parks. It is a really great area to be working in.

Cons

The fast growth and changes makes it hard to stay up to date with everything new to the project. Things move quickly here, the micro service approach makes that very manageable however, your team... isn't responsible for doing all things. This is a minor thing because everyone works really hard to ensure everyone gets up to date with the changes as required and there are lots of great slack groups full of people to help if needed.
