I worked at GenMark Diagnostics full-time for more than a year

Pros

Lots of intelligent employees who are experts in their field. It's an exciting technology that really does make you feel like you are a part of something that could do good in the future. They do... have some fun activities and the pay is generally okay.

Cons

Everything else. It's unfortunate that they have so many great employees who ultimately leave due to management. They have had ~4 CFOs in the past 5 years. Yelling and belittling are a common... expectation for any meeting. Everything is aimed towards getting ready to sell and the company who does inquire had better do good due diligence.

Advice to Management

Get rid of "you know who"...and everyone knows who that is. It is damaging your long term plan/goals.
