"Not Great"Aug 4, 2020

Former Contractor - Product Demonstrator

I worked at WDS for less than a year

Pros

Good sense of camaraderie, coworkers were all nice

Cons

Don't know what days you are working, standing all day is exhausting (good shoes are a must), and you have to deal with rude and greedy people all day

"TERRIBLE"Feb 27, 2014

Former Employee - Driver

I worked at WDS Transport full-time for less than a year

Pros

There Mechanic is a very good Mechanic, just never has enough time too actually fix the truck correctly and safely, he always rushed and or waiting on parts too arrive to fix the trucks and trailers,... and plenty of miles if you want too run illegal that is you can get plenty of miles

Cons

They spend more on technology then they do on drivers and wages, or there equipment, there trailers are junk, there trucks are junk as well, always breaking down they force you to run illegal too get... loads on time, they hire anyone and everyone... just to fill there crappy trucks that break down all the time, half don't have breaks that work correctly, all have leaks that literally you have too watch... if you do break down they will let you sit for days before they get it fixed, and then charge you a fine for having it break down They will look you in your face and be nice too you, but as soon as you turn your back or not around they will make fun of you, put you down, accuse you of stealing, accuse you of breaking there equipment and so much more,STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TOO SUCCEED in Trucking, if you want too loose your shirt go work for WDS if your a shipper I wouldn't even do business with there Logistic side, because its your CSA Score and they as well push there customers too run illegally all day long!!!

Advice to Management

sell your business get out of trucking all together, non of you have the ability too actually run a business less alone listen too anyone, you have that im smarter then you, and i know the business... attitude yet you don't pay your bills on time, you owe a thousand part companies and tire companies and even drivers for that matter, because you break every federal law that has ever been written on how you treat your drivers, so only advice I can truly give you...IS PUT YOUR A plus game on every day and change who you are and actually start caring for your drivers instead of putting every one of them down and charging them fines and fee;s and interest on cash advances if you'd pay them good enough they wouldn't need cash advances
