Former Employee - Wind Turbine Service Technician

I worked at Vestas Wind Systems full-time for more than a year

Pros

Strong Management, Good Pay, Opportunity to Advance

Cons

Long Hours, Travel can be a lot at times

Current Employee - Manager-Sales/Operations

I have been working at FIC Corporation full-time for more than a year

Pros

high level of autonomy, small company feel with big company mindset, casual office environment, friendly staff and corporate contact interaction.

Cons

limited opportunity for growth and advancement, In order for advancement, you must be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Advice to Management

take less of a "downsizing" view of the companies you run. Your employees are your biggest asset, and cutting cost by eliminating positions is not the best way to do business.
