Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Rush University Medical Center full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Excellent culture and people. Great place to work. Rush does a lot for the community and for their employees. I've learned a lot and enjoy working here.

Cons

As like other hospitals some areas are short staffed but the company has done a lot to increase morale and show appreciation for their employees

Advice to Management

more focus on development would be nice

Current Employee - Radiologic Technologist

I have been working at Rush Memorial Hospital full-time for less than a year

Pros

This hospital provides cutting edge services with incredibly talented staff. If you want to work with a great team with opportunity to learn new skills and work with new equipment this is the place... to be. As a new employee my team is always there to help me learn and very understanding of mistakes. Leadership at this hospital is employee oriented and striving to make the patient experience priority one.

Cons

If you want to work at a place where you make widgets on a line and do the same thing every day this might not be the place for you. Every day brings new experiences and learning opportunities.... Departments are close and work well with each other there is a strong team atmosphere.

Advice to Management

Your focus on employee well being is appreciated and making a safe updated work environment is commendable.
