1. A good opportunity to be a Work-At-Home OPI with a status of a self-employed worker; 2. Flexible work schedule - a great perk for a semi-retired individual; 3. A great work team to be a part of.... Knowledgeable, courteous, easily accessible administrators: contact center operators, IT specialists, coordinators, accountants etc.; 4. A superbly designed, user-friendly Interpreter Portal that allows for a top-notch quality level of accountability bilaterally/bidirectionally; 5. A highly reliable system of communication; 6. Negotiable hourly rates; 7. Sufficiently intense flow of incoming calls from clients (plus - another great bonus for an OPI! - an opportunity to operate on a pre-scheduled mode "ad hoc"). Of note: all of the above makes merely a short list which is to be continued, as LanguageLink keeps on growing and improving. Blessings unto you, dear colleagues, in 2023.
No significant negative aspects became known to me throughout the entire time period of my work history as an OPI with LanguageLink. The only exception, perhaps, is the occasionally malfunctioning... virtual "counter" of missed calls; at times, this tool would negatively interfere with the controller of the Interpreter's Status, thereby automatically making an interpreter unavailable unbeknownst to the user. This minor problem is certainly manageable, though may leave a bitter "aftertaste"...

- Poor management - Not much room for promotion - Understaffed considering call volume - Unreasonable expectations from management
