What Employees Say
I worked at Harley-Davidson, Inc. for less than a year
The people who work there - at all levels - were great. Even the highest ranking workers would make their way down to the warehouse to socialize and integrate themselves with all levels of workers.... They pay was alright, but the benefits made it even better: employees get access to company bikes.
There weren't many cons about working here. If anything, maybe a lack of upward mobility for those who worked in the warehouse. To be fair, a warehouse is a very pyramid-shaped environment to work in..., so that's expected.
Advice to Management
I don't have much to advise aside from refraining to be innovative on the ground level. There's nothing wrong with reorganizing the way things are done, even though they may have been done one way... for a long time. Other than that, keep doing what you're doing because I always reference H-D when I talk about the type of company someone should hope to work for.

Modern, up-to-date building, great workout facility, cafeteria.
Not many windows, on the phones all day, difficult to connect with coworkers (due to being on the phones all day). Opportunity for internal growth is iffy (must be in current position for at least 1... year before switching to a new role).
