Current Employee - Interaction Designer

I have been working at Habanero Consulting Group full-time

Pros

Wellness and technology allowances, rrsp matching, peer to peer coaching, role flexibility, high trust, high autonomy, lots of talent within the organization, inclusive and authentic culture

Cons

No traditional people management roles due to flat organizational structure, don't expect profit sharing every year, workloads for delivery roles will ebb and flow considerably depending on demand... from clients

Current Employee - Corporate Recruiter

I have been working at Appen full-time for less than a year

Pros

LOVE the sense of community, collaboration, potential for growth. Great team members. I feel Appen values you, rather than treating you as a disposable addition to the team. We really care about... diversity, collaboration and responsible leadership. Good social causes in play-- really looking to see our social impact increase over the next year! Great company wide communication - very transparent in times of COV19. Weekly calls with the CEO + global team. Daily calls with my team. Impactful work- not an ant in the ant hill. Love working from home!

Cons

Let's be leaders in the name of AI/ML and sustainability! If AI is the future, let's lead with a sustainable torch!

Advice to Management

Keep up the social causes and vision centered around collaboration and positive community impact! Great work life balance.
