I have been working at Exchange Solutions full-time for less than a year
Pros
Welcoming and dedicated people. The environment is very collaborative. HR is very employee centric and I really enjoyed my first 3 months on-boarding process - first week schedule, cross-department... meetings and lunch with leadership.
Cons
- Relatively low compensation - Could be very busy from time, but if you are someone who has the ambition to growth / enjoy learning this could be very beneficial for your future
I have been working at PagerDuty full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Fantastic people to work with, and a truly great company culture which the company works hard to maintain. There is plenty of room for rising within the company, and growing oneself, which is... strongly encouraged and supported. And work life balance is a real thing - including an extra day off every month for the entire company. Overall, the best company I’ve worked at.
Cons
As any company grows rapidly, there is bound to be some missteps and adjustments needed, but they genuinely want feedback, and seek it out, and then course correct as needed. However, if being part... of a rapidly growing company with the changes that entails, or being in an environment where you are expected to be open with proactively providing constructive criticism or feedback, for the greater benefit, are things that don’t suit you…
Advice to Management
Even with the rapid growth, keep on working hard to maintain the open, positive and supportive company culture, which is one of the company’s greatest assets.
