People working there are all very nice and genuinely believe in the product they're selling.
Team has a strong camaraderie because the product is a mess and seems to take five steps backward every time they take one forward, necessitating long hours of drinking together and complaining about... management. Executive team is constantly trying to push and push expectations to clients further out to get themselves out of hole they've dug themselves into. CEO is a nice person but obviously struggles with running a business, has a very laissez faire attitude toward missed product release deadlines, seems to feel he can just keep pushing dates back and then gets confused when people cancel. Company had a great opportunity to be at the forefront of the industry for years to come, but now will unfortunately fill that same amount of time repairing client relationships and their own reputation as a trustworthy company.
Advice to Management
Replace CEO with someone who knows what they're doing, hold engineering team to deadlines and improve communication between teams so client feedback is actually heard and not just ignored.
