Featured Review

Current Employee - IT Manager

I have been working at Canadian Tire full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Profit Sharing, True Canadian Company

Cons

Very dispersed teams, moderate politics

Current Employee - Lab Manager

I have been working at University of Waterloo full-time

Pros

- good pay - good benefits - awesome co-workers - environment supports its staff - room for advancement/internal transfers

Cons

- parking is far from offices - parking costs you - some payroll issues when onboarding or transferring positions

Advice to Management

Free parking. More parking. Perhaps additional benefits such as vision (we have an optometry school...) and maybe gym memberships.
