Current Employee - Commercial Lines Associate Underwriter

I have been working at Burns & Wilcox full-time for less than a year

Pros

My experience has been great so far at Burns & Wilcox. Management is understanding and approachable, the teammates are open to help and have a lot of knowledge, onboarding has been easy and... training is surprisingly seamless despite working from home. The benefits at B&W are great as well. Everyone is a true professional and easy to work with.

Cons

I wouldn't consider this a con, but I would not suggest that a brand-new licensed insurance employee begin working at Burns. It is high paced work and could be overwhelming if you're not used to it.... It's not to say that it can't be done, but just a fair warning.
