Featured Review

Current Employee - Vice President, Marketing

I have been working at BuildDirect full-time for less than a year

Pros

The people are amazing. Kind, thoughtful with high emotional intelligence. Ability to share ideas openly. Constant collaboration. Balanced work life and flexibility. The unlimited vacation truly... shifts the way we approach how we work, this is a priceless benefit.

Cons

You will need to be able pivot and go with the flow when changes are happening. Things can change quickly, very much like a start-up. If you thrive in a changing environment, you will find it very... exhilarating and fun. If you don't, you could get frustrated.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing with keeping the lines of communication open and the transparency. Sharing both the good and the bad, keeps it real. Thanks for doing this on an ongoing basis.

Current Employee - Senior Underwriter

I have been working at Canada Drives full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Breakfast and lunch provided in office kitchen, young, dynamic and friendly employees. Employers who appreciate employees in a number of fun and creative ways. Ex. Bonuses, team events, dinners etc. .... A great place to gain experience and to build a career in a number of different fields.

Cons

I live in Surrey so the commute is not great, but the company makes up for it with paying for transit pass and providing basic breakfast and lunch options.
