Featured Review

Current Contractor - Software Developer

I have been working at Bell Canada

Pros

Learned a lot working there. It's a very large company with lots of customers so everything needs to work at large scale: distributed systems, pipelines, lots of automated tests, dockers, containers..., VMs... you get the idea.

Cons

Very large company. Can be difficult to take initiative.

Current Intern - Project Management Intern

I have been working at Black & McDonald for less than a year

Pros

You get real world experience. You get to contribute to projects that actually matter.

Cons

The learning curve can be steep. It can take time to learn the standards and procedures that go along with the job.
