"Great employer"Dec 1, 2020

Current Employee - Business Analyst

I have been working at Banque Nationale du Canada/National Bank of Canada full-time

Pros

Great employer. Lots of room for movement. Lot of employee perks.

Cons

A little too conservative and French-leaning, despite wanting to be the #1 bank in all of Canada. Often hire the most unqualified people for very specific and important roles, which require a... particular skill or experience.

Advice to Management

Listen to your employees more. Eliminate toxic employees, regardless of their skill and experience. Recruit based on skill, experience, and the department's needs.
