Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Avalon Flooring full-time

Pros

Working with the customers was the best thing.

Cons

No support from the V.P.s of the company. Manage through it was the only answer.

Advice to Management

Start hiring willing and competent people. Instead of worrying about following everything up with a second, third, fourth conversation, and than finally an email, how about we listen the first time.... I wasted so much time repeating myself and following the order's of my superior by constantly checking over two separate departments, I of course got discouraged. With all that being said, Avalon expects you to work from home with a company cell phone/laptop, on top everything just mentioned. My personal experience was awful and from what I witnessed not a whole lot of fellow employees were happy either. The worst thing about this is when my immediate supervisor showed me my yearly review before submitting it to our boss. It was very fair to say the least. He was forced to redo it numerous times before finally being accepted by his superior. It went from a kind and fair review to the complete opposite. I doubt corporate knew I was aware of all the times he was forced to revise my review. My immediate supervisor said this is typical to dodge giving bonuses, as he had to threaten to leave in order to get a fair increase in pay. I can go on and on but if you don't believe me, give them a shot and see for yourself.

Current Employee - Area Director

I have been working at N2 Publishing full-time for more than a year

Pros

N2 has changed my life for the better financially, mentally, physically and spiritually. The leaders in the company care about you, respect you and VALUE your opinion. The heart of the company is... genuine and the opportunity is real. No, it's not too good to be true. You can make well over six figures in a year and not be a slave to your employer or your business!

Cons

It is a mentally taxing job initially, but once you learn how to manage your mind and grow in your maturity, you learn what life is really all about.

Advice to Management

Keep loving your people well!
