I have been working at Achievers full-time for less than a year


Love the mission, focus on culture, and delivering for customers. Great leadership. The new CEO has been bringing in top talent leaders. Very clear growth plan. Interesting work as we look to... expand into new markets and go beyond recognition to solve other problems. Good work life balance and internal mobility. Customers really love us which is very motivating. Shareholders supportive of investing aggressively to drive growth.


Fast paced with big goals so need to be OK with change. Some of the teams are spread out requiring work from home. Toronto location getting tight for space.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Keep the bar high on talent.

I have been working at AlayaCare full-time for less than a year


There are a ton of pros in all aspects of this company. I don't think I could name them all but I will do my best to include the best ones. Management has a true respect for the employees and does... everything they can to ensure we all succeed. There is a very intensive on boarding process, great resources for learning and training. They are very approachable people as well, I have never felt uncomfortable having a conversation with an member of the management here. The teams are structured well, there is clearly a lot of thought that goes into making sure everyone is a good fit for their team. Each team is responsible for something important but its always fair. Alayacare is becoming a large company but you don't feel like a cog in the wheel or overwhelmed but having too much piled on. The market for the product is huge and increasing a lot as time goes on, the job feels very secure as a result. There is also a great opportunity to make a difference in a product that helps a lot of people and will help even more. It is easy to feel good about what you do for a living working here. We have a lot of fun during and after work, people playing games together or just hanging out, it allows people to build good relationships with a lot of people. Its never forced though if its not your thing, there is no problem doing your work and going home. The location and the view are amazing. Right beside the mountain, great food options around, near parks. It is a really great area to be working in.


The fast growth and changes makes it hard to stay up to date with everything new to the project. Things move quickly here, the micro service approach makes that very manageable however, your team... isn't responsible for doing all things. This is a minor thing because everyone works really hard to ensure everyone gets up to date with the changes as required and there are lots of great slack groups full of people to help if needed.
