Former Employee - Sales Associate

I worked at 2001 Audio Video full-time for less than a year

Pros

Positive team trying to sell. I wasn't good at commission sales, however the team atmosphere was amazing. I had fun advising, helping customers with their electronics questions. Management knows... how to run the business, they've been around for awhile. Stores performance may be attributed to supply and demand in the area. Even the owners put their two cents in on selling, it was a bonus that an owner would speak to us. Training was cool, Training happens almost everyday, colleagues shared information or spoke about issues they've had with electronics. Vendors came to demo their new electronics regularly and we had group lunches. I am happy to see 2001 around.. Never a problem with payroll, HR was always accessible when required for questions. It was too bad i didn't excel at sales. I left behind a great group of work colleagues.

Cons

No Cons, have nothing to complain about.

Advice to Management

none, keep up the good work.

Current Employee - National Account Manager

I have been working at Empowerment Technologies Inc. full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Unique opportunity to work at company that sells its products to Fortune 500 conglomerates. The skills you can learn at ETI, you will keep for life. I started as a Jr. Account Manager 4 years ago... and now I lead the B2B sales for the company. Huge growth potential with extremely competitive pay and benefits. The team members you have working along side of you are dependable and collaberative.

Cons

Extremely fast paced envrioment. This is not the place for "ill get to it, when I get to it" type of people. If you dont pull your weight, it will be noticed super fast by management and peers.... If you cant work at a extremely super fast paced enviroment with lofty expectations on goals and personal performance, look else where. If goals are not being met. everyone has to kick it in overdrive.

Advice to Management

Appreciate the little wins. Be more sympathetic towards peoples mental capacities and mental state.
