Any insight on salaries in Cleveland Ohio? I’m an manager (7.5 years) and I make $107k. Not sure if I’m grossly underpaid or overpaid, or just right.
In Houston and external hire senior associates make more than that.
Like93I didn’t break into the 100s until I was a SM in WI 😆
Like75112,000 in Cleveland Years of my salary stagnating in government and then shot from 65k-112k in the 4.5 years I’ve been in public (got brought in as a 1st year senior at 80k in 2019)
Like92I would say probably slightly underpaid. I'm assuming public accounting and homegrown rather than external hire
Like96The U.S. Census has the job rates. Decent website.
Like63Slightly underpaid. $120-130
Like66Slightly underpaid but probs. Not a huge deal
Like717 years in risk assurance in a similar COL and being paid 128k.
Like56Hello fellow Clevelanders!
Like45I left as a senior ~3.5 years making 93k before my bonus…in Michigan lol you are under paid pal
Like54Depends on service line and firm. I was at $115k base as an S1 when I was in CLE but this was for a specialty group
Like44These salary ranges are way low for senior managers at Deloitte. SM is one level below PPMD. The average salary is close to 250 base. Get it right people.
Like30Are you a junior or senior Tax Manager? I know some Firms actually do not differentiate and solely have Tax Managers/Directors that then the next step up would be a promotion to a Principal so just curious as to give you the best reply.

Like10I am attending the Liberty Tax Class currently and I was told the starting pay for a new tax preparer is only $10 and hour in Houston Texas. Is that true? I know they say you receive a bonus for every positive review that you receive on Google or online. Does anyone with experience working for Liberty know how much $ they made as a 1st year tax preparer with Liberty Taxes? I've already got my PTIN and I have had it for 2 years already and I've worked for 2 other large franchises before but their pay was similar and I didn't think it was enough for the amount of work i was doing daily during the tax season.
