To accommodate a diverse workforce, Vision Critical offers a benefits package that is all about choices. Moving away from the one-size-fits-all approach, employees are given the opportunity to choose from three flexible benefits plans that best meet their unique needs. Depending on which plan is selected, employees may have the option to direct flex credits into either a health spending account (e.g., unused portions of heath, vision and dental claims), lifestyle spending account (e.g., fitness expenses, alternative health and wellness services, education and personal development), or Group RRSP.

Included in the core benefits is MyCare which offers employees and their eligible dependents affordable and timely access to world-renowned Mayo Clinic expertise in the event of a serious illness or major orthopedic condition. This will help fast track them through the diagnosis so they can get on the path to recovery quickly.

To help employees prepare for life after work, Vision Critical offers an RRSP, matching 100% of a member’s regular contribution up to a maximum contribution of 3% of earnings or $4,000 per calendar year (whichever is lower).

    Pretty nice, vacation is 15+3 days to start, 20+3 after 4 years, max out at 25+3. 3 different insurance plans to choose from. Paid critical illness, bereavement, maternity leave

    Best thing is that you can choose from one of the three different plan options. Worst thing is the $500 should be increased to $800 for each practitioner or you should be able to forego $500 in one area and use it to a service you most use or need.

    - One of the very few benefits of working at Vision Critical was their benefits package. Very comprehensive coverage. I used my flex plan to buy 2 pair of eyeglasses that I still wear :)
