This may sound crazy, but does anyone else not love summer break? I enjoy my work. It gives me purpose. Sure, we plan and do things over summer, but I find the constant pressure of finding constructive things to do day to day increases my anxiety. Give me two weeks like winter break and let’s get back to it 🤷♂️

Staff have access to extensive learning opportunities through staff development training, systems training and mentorship programs, as well as the University’s Continuing Studies and degree programs.
The health package could be more for the money each employee pays, but overall it's good.
Great benefits and good work life balance.
Good health insurance package for PhD students, especially if you add the CUPE plan if you hold a TA-ship.
