benefits are good -- only available to full time staff -- covers dental, health and life insurance
80% dental, RRSP/DPSP contributions, EAP program, $20 max for massage etc.
Benefits are good. You pay for the plan though.
Helps Cover my new family
Pretty standard benefit package. Employee discount should apply to sale product as well as regular stock.
TSC has a fairly standard benefit plan. I would like to see an increase in the yearly maximums for some supplemental health benefits. But other than that, it satisfies my benefit needs.
I always get quick turn around on any benefit expenses I submit.
Supplementary health coverage is good, covers a lot of different paramedical services, good vision coverage. Dental coverage is good, orthodontics if you have kids is great. Depending on your level STD and LTD coverage is available. RRSP with a decent company matching plan. Other perks from being a TSC team member such as preferred mortgage rates and staff discounts.
All full-time employees qualify for benefits. Applying for benefits is quick and simple. Claims can be submitted online and are processed quickly and can be paid through direct deposit within a few days. The amount allotted for vision could be more, but overall the benefit program is good.
TSC's dental plan seems standard, 80% coverage with a cap of $1,500 per year. Vision care especially the eye exam coverage is low, covering only $25. Prescription coverage is decent, 80% but all other benefits are very minimal. Vacation and paid time off starts off low, 2 weeks and company does not like carrying over vacation. .
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
