Company perks include being able to buy products at discounted price (cost price + 10%) with a $2k yearly limit for part-timers ($4k for full-timers), and having access to Experticity which allows you to learn about different brands and earn some rewards. Taking time off is also pretty flexible for part-timers.
I was working at Sport Chek part-time as a cashier and I got a 50% discount (cost plus 10%) off of the original price (not sale price). And I had a $2000 limit for the year.
Good discount. But only up to 2500$. Some brands are better than others in savings
At least 2 weeks paid vacation if you’re full time. Benefit packages range from 70-90% and the deductions are taken from your paycheque. Can’t change your choice of package for a year so choose wisely.
There isn't a full coverage option from the benefits package. The higher tier packages required payment directly from your own income.
you get a great discount, the only bad thing is that there is a limit to how much you can use the discount
part time no benefits, just employee discount
Dental benefits are mediocre. But everything else is reasonable.
The employee discount was definitely the best benefit to working at sportchek. They also offered a fairly standard entry level full time employee benefit package.
Employee discount usually works out to be 50% off on clothes and running shoes.
