3 weeks vacation for entry level with 5 personal days (which can be used as vacation)
They give me extra pay if I don't use the vacation. If I do need the vacation, just apply and let manager approve. With in the limit (I had 4 days for 4 month period), the vacations are paid.
Vacation is nice but if you return to work with an even bigger pile because there wasn't enough manpower to cover your desk/files/deals while away... then whats the point of a vacation?
Good benefits for the company and health and dental covered for almost all full time employees if you work at bank of nova scotia
Vacation requirements are generous and added with the personal days are excellent for work-life balance.
Benefits are good, lots of options and you can get good coverage without payroll deductions. I'm a 0.3 (only work 11.25 hours per week) and no complaints with my coverage
Like all other companies.....2 weeks vacations.
Scotia offers a great option for vacation and personal time off when needed. The vacation tracking system can be better, but you'll manage.
Vacation and paid time off are provided and prorated.
The worst is that there are 3 continuous sick days, however, if taken, employee is automatically considered on short term disability.
