Decent salary for engineering, generous holidays and flexible working (for all but shop floor staff)
Rolls-Royce's provide a modern benefits package catered towards a changing work environment. Specifically, my current role provides huge flexibility in working hours and location - providing a modern worker with the opportunity to develop a fantastic work/life balance
The ability to join various tax efficient share schemes
Decent wages for an industrial company given the work life balance, though no real extras such as private health / dental etc without significant contributions.
Good basic rate of pay, but they expect you to do unspecified amounts of overtime for it. If you don't, then you don't 'get on'.
- Good amount of holidays in the package - The salary is not as competitive as some other top engineering firms
Twenty five days holiday a year. Pension: Rolls-Royce will match the salary percentage that you contribute. Dental benefit as well, but this is not free. Also a flexible range of benefits that can be taken from salary, chosen once a year. Lastly there is share save.
The pension is fantastic
The overall package combined with the salary was very good - perhaps too - good leading to the recent management cull .
Gradually being whittled away in all areas. Work-life balance becomes very poor at senior levels.
