Decent wages for an industrial company given the work life balance, though no real extras such as private health / dental etc without significant contributions.
Good basic rate of pay, but they expect you to do unspecified amounts of overtime for it. If you don't, then you don't 'get on'.

Twenty five days holiday a year. Pension: Rolls-Royce will match the salary percentage that you contribute. Dental benefit as well, but this is not free. Also a flexible range of benefits that can be taken from salary, chosen once a year. Lastly there is share save.
The pension is fantastic
The overall package combined with the salary was very good - perhaps too - good leading to the recent management cull .
Rolls-Royce has always since privatisation had a Good Sharesave incentive available to it's employees, They pay one of the best salaries for this type of work in the west of Scotland,
Gradually being whittled away in all areas. Work-life balance becomes very poor at senior levels.
For those who have been there a long time there was a good pension, however newer employees do not get this and there is poor salary recognition which is affecting retention.
