They do genuinely care for the wellbeing of all employees and provides benefits and virtual wellness events.
The benefits package is fantastic overall, but having more flexible spending options would be great in Canada.
The benefits are pretty standard for Canadian employees. The parental leave for American employees is a plus if you live there.
RRSP match - 1% - very low Standard benefits - $500 across the board - too low
Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?
Catered Lunches and well stocked snacks
the benefits are great because it covers necessary needs
Free catered lunch every day. So many snacks, cold brew coffee, beer on tap, flavoured water, pop, juice, coffee machines, kombucha on tap, coconut water. Granola, M&Ms, Kit Kat, variety of cereal, eggs, cheese, fruit... you really can eat breakfast everyday here too which most people do. Oh yeah, free catered breakfast on Wednesday's!
Pay is very competitive, and the benefits are strong. The mobile reimbursement at $75 is so-so, and the lack of RRSP matching is lacking.
Work life balance is great. The flexibility to work from home if I have family appointments makes my life a lot easier. Full healthcare coverage and unlimited sick days makes sure everyone stays healthy.
