All benefits after MNP acquired our independent firm were LESS than we started with. Original employee benefits were grandfathered in but all new hires went with MNP benefits; lower salaries, no paternity leave, less vacation, no OT banking or payout, less RRSP matching, same fitness benefit.
Time off was the best perk.
You have overtime paid off, but the health care benefit is not so good.
