PTO for 2 weeks a year is nice. Booking that time off is not particularly do-able.

    Long & McQuade Response

We have a fairly well organized plan as to how time off is to be booked. If the program is followed, there should be no problem. I am happy to look into any specific issues.

Two weeks off to start, accumulates very slowly over time.

No time off in the first year. Long and tiresome.

They are really stingy with time off. You can't take any time at Christmas, so if you have kids or live far from your family, be prepared to work until at least 5pm Christmas Eve and be back Boxing Day. You can't take time off the end of February or first of March either as that is inventory, even if it is your province's March Break. You have to work for 6 years before you can get more than 2 weeks off for vacation, and then they are really picky about when you take the time off. Managers always get first pick on the vacation time, so hope you don't have any family commitments or celebrations (ie weddings, etc) planned when they decide to take some of their often 5 weeks off!
