‘was okay, you get discount on cameras, computers and cell phone plans. Other groceries as well. ’
‘nothing to say, not covered too much nor used any. was wasting money from barely nothing wage’
‘London Drugs is so on top of health and safety there are very few claims. Therefore workers comp would be easily dealt with and generally no problem’
Excellent working environment. Very good co-workers
The wage was really low and the bonus was close to nothing. That is a dead end job with no pay increase at all( 20 cents per year maybe), the new hires are paid more than what you are paying.
For a company in healthcare, the benefits package is surprisingly poor. Worst I have encountered actually. Only good coverage is for prescription medication if filled at LD, so this benefit actually is in the company’s best interest. Paid vacation cannot be taken until after 1 year so new employees regardless of industry experience are exhausted and burned out by the time they can take time off.
Worst: - Minimum wage for ever. Better to apply directly to Canada Post as the start hourly is $19.80.
most of the benefits start after one year for part timers
Basically no holiday time. They run such little coverage you can't actually take the vacation you have earned. 20% discount is helpful.
You get something, it’s better than not having no insurance. But it also isn’t the best out there if you compare it to other company’s/
Great discounts with numerous companies and flexible with how much you get taxed.
Working for London drugs, we did not really have any benefits. But I was not really worried about that since it was only a part-time job for me
Best was the RRSP matching. But you have to work 2 years before becoming eligible.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
