Worst is eyeglass coverage.
Stock purchase plan, matching contribution to pension plan
job training, flexible timing to work
vacation any days, great benefits, full coverage, manulife i believe
Best: dental, health, share ownership, life insurance, disability coverage Worst: you have to pay for it - though the company awards credits that offset the cost
free internship, with no knowledge, added, just coldcalling
no benefits you are self-employed
You have $0 in guaranteed pay, after your initial starting months. They don't compensate fairly, as the industry is leading to shorter investment time commitments, which means you get paid 0.033% monthly on the investment. Very hard to make a living without constant sales to clients, which results in overselling. You get options to buy IG stock, which is good.
100% commission, not very good benefits
Benefits are fully paid by the consultant and is demanded as terms of employment with IG. This forced expense is one of many making it difficult to afford working as a consultant. Stock option plans and pro-rated bonuses paid over 5 year rolling terms are meant to retain the more successful consultants who may wish to become independant or join another firm.
