They do train you and pay for designations (discounts at a minimum)

They send you to Winnipeg for intense training for the way that IG would like things done, which is good but the ongoing training after initial 2 training sessions is limited.
Intensive training for the first two years. Testing fees are reimbursed when tests are passed.
