Great pension. Ability to buy and sell GSK shares. Employee assistance program which covers a multitude of different services from councillors to money advice. Holidays are good but depending on which department you work, you may be told when you can take it.
Add-ons are good (car allowance, shares etc), but the base salary isn't great and the value of shares is limited by the utterly crap share performance over the last 15 years Cycling support is excellent. Work/life balance can be good, but depends on the manager - some are great, a few are not

As an Industrial Placement Student, you work as a contracted employee which means you can kiss away any benefits you would normally receive from the company.
It's varied and both monetary and team building. It encourages one to keep working with the company as it is continuously improving.
Cycle to work scheme is good. Long Term incentives in terms of stock is good. No dental insurance unless very senior. Pension is ok.
