A very comprehensive benefit package
Student pay is pretty low - but you do get 1.25 vacation days a month (if you're on contract for 8 months +) and a 1K spending account for fitness/gym/health
A health insurance package that is better than the Government of Canada. More discretionary funds toward services like massage, physiotherapy, which do not require a doctor's note to qualify for coverage.
great that they have benefits even for people on contract
Company perks are really good. Almost as good as private if not better. 100% health and DC pension matching. Standard vacation package.
Amazing benefits! From the onsite 24/7 gym to the health and wellness perks, EDC has you covered. So many benefits I can't even use them all!
The full-time employee gets good benefits, however the contract employees gets almost nothing (1000$/year for health expense). If you were told that you'll eventually be flipped as a full-time, beware, it will take forever. My leader kept saying that my turn will come soon, and it never materialized. After 4 years, I got tired of waiting and I found a better paid full-time job elsewhere.
Excellent company, great mission, but mostly drive to generate profit and politics rather than listening to what customer need. The management need new blood, but many are on the auto-pilot waiting to retire.
Health benefits - 90% prescription drug coverage (no deductible), 100% dental Pension Plan - DC plan, but company matches contributions Flexible work arrangements - work from home, flexible schedule, good work-life balance
Working from home, uncapped sick leave, work-life balance culture
