I worked as a contractor so no actual benefits . My colleagues who were Full time Employees had decent benefits.
Health coverage has been changed in past years
PTO starts at 18 days/yr, insurance is decent, telecommuting is possible, 4% pension plan matching.
Ericsson provides good coverage on dental and vision
Good company with international opportunities to grow. People and management are nice and supportive however not willing to change the culture and very process driven Grow organically and prefer existing employees over new ones
The benefits package at Ericsson is considered among the best. We have a good health insurance plan. RRSP is also matched by the company. It is my first year at Ericsson so I'm still not taking advantage of all benefits.
Great pay, amazing benefits, and company culture is strong. Although it is a worldwide company, you feel like a family. Vacation/sick time off is great. Having been with the company many years, I get five weeks of PTO and a week a sick time. The building itself is a major benefit: lockers & showers, computer rooms, quiet/prayer room, coworker-only restaurant that serves a different meal each day for only $3. Some locations have gyms and free bicycles to rent, lactation rooms for new moms, etc.
Insurance benefits has got worse and worse over the years, seems like they want to save money. We used to also be provided with mobile phones but now we need to buy our own
Flexible working time, but overtime working is expected with no compensation.
Ericsson works with Manulife and provides a very reasonable price for individual or family insurance coverage.
