Can someone share more details about the M&A practice at Alix Partners? I have heard that they mostly work on healthcare, life sciences, and, functionally, operational due diligence. My experience is in transformation and corporate strategy at B2B industrial companies. Ideally, I would like some exposure to M&A while working on strategy and enterprise transformation (not digital) engagements. Thoughts on taking a 10% pay cut on base salary to pivot from ERP to product? New role is still in the enterprise applications realm but would have a guaranteed 10% bonus + 50K RSUs (vests over 4 years). Current bonus is tier based on billable hours + variable qualitative. My 401k is set to fully vest this fall and I'm expecting my bonus to be in the 5-9K range. Not a promotion year for me but would probably get a raise? Benefits are very slightly better at the new company.
