    the worst thing is you dont get any sick pay if you work for the company less than 1 year, after one 1 year you get paid your sickness. but first 3 days are unpaid

    Discounts on major stores that have contract with Costa or are part of Whitbred Group. Another benefit scheme - If the store does well the employees should get some points that they can use to buy stuff online. In theory very good but in practice, the employees are given unrealistic targets that are impossible to reach and some even out of their control.

    Discounted food on shift. Although not allowed, we where often given free food and drinks if they where going out of date

    The best thing is the 50% discount on other Whitbread companies such as Premier Inn, and free drinks on shift. Unfortunately holiday and time off must be requested 4-5 weeks in advance, and cannot be granted at the busiest periods such as Christmas.
