It can be hard to get a staff tee time, but it’s awesome that staff get to golf.
no benefits. work hard. paid holidays. blah blah blah
Very flexible schedule, could change around shifts very easily. Management is very accommodating to personal schedules. Very easy to book time off as well.
Didn't get a benefits package, but they're WorkPerks program with Venngo was great. Half price gym memberships, hotel and car rental deals, other random deals.
Flexible vacation time. Took a week off during the summer where I worked for 4 months
Two weeks paid vacation for the first year and three weeks after that. RRSP matching up to a certain percent (5% or 6%). Most coverage is up to 80% for dental and massage. $200 for vision every 2 years.
You get a discount on gold as well as have a membership to Venue which provides you thousands of deals at many restaurants, shopping centre and vacations.
There wasn't really a benefits package. I assume that was because I was an hourly worker and not salaried. I knew when I applied that there would be no benefits so I did not mind.
I don't golf, so the staff tee times didn't entice me. I enjoyed a free meal at the club daily (sitting in a booth in the actual restaurant, ordering off the actual menu!) and discounts in the Pro Shop. My vacation time was flexible to account for the unpaid overtime during the busy season (i.e. I officially received 3 weeks paid vacation, but generally took 2 full weeks plus plenty of short days and long weekends during the slow season).
Free golf and discounted resorts; employee reward programs
