Best thing is the benefits package is the employer pays 100%.
Health and dental and other professional services are paid for a portion by the employees and a portion by the employer. The package includes short term and long term disability, life insurance, and maternity leave benefits.
Extended amount of healthcare spenindg and Group RRSP eligibility brought down from 3 years to 1 year.
Benefits package is through a HCSA which offers lots of flexibility for those who don't have lots of expenses. Pension contribution is ok.
They hardly cover anything on health.. the personal dollars they give is also low compared to other firms
Baker Tilly Canada response
Thank you for your comments. Our benefits package is designed based on actual claims data, and was recently adjusted to better fit the needs of our employees. It includes a Health Care Spending Account that is fully funded by the firm. In addition, the firm offers high need insurance, disability coverage, an expanded wellness subsidy, EAP and a group RRSP.
The health benefits are probably the worst thing about the benefits package. A couple of good things are the RRSP plan and the defined number of sick days and personal days allowed.

Thank you for your comments. Our staff is very important to us and we listen to their feedback. As a result, we have introduced benefits enhancements this year - including increased spending limits and carry forward in our health spending account (HSA) which is fully funded by the firm. We also offer group high need insurance, disability coverage, an expanded wellness subsidy, EAP and group RRSP.
vacation and banked time off
The benefits package is primarily a health spending account. Which is good for those who don't actively need medical coverage and the premiums are far lower. However if you the coverage, the account seems to run out quickly.
Benefits to fit employee needs.
Worst benefit ever you get $1000 HSA to spend on dental prescription and physio. If you have a health condition such as diabetes or require frequent Physiotherapy do not join CB

Thank you for your comments. We understand that staff is our biggest asset. As such, we make great efforts to listen to staff feedback at all levels and invest in our talent. Our new HSA benefits program was introduced last year and based on our actual claims data. It is currently under review for further enhancements.
