Only two months sick pay (one month if less than two year's service) whatever your condition, after that it's at Managers' discretion and needs HRBP approval.

Better than statutory minimum- this policy is in the process of being changed for the better
4 weeks if you have worked at the BBC less than 2 years and 8 weeks if you have worked for them longer. Not spectacular compared to other large companies in the UK and Europe.
Full pay for up to six weeks, with a certificate obviously.
As long as it is accompanied by a doctor's note, claims for sick pay are very straightforward. Up to three days sick leave are allowed without any documentation.
