‘Decent amount of vacation (can't recall the exact numbers), and you can buy up to five extra vacation days by giving up salary (you need the extra time to get through the job stress)’
‘Totally average health insurance package for a company their size’
‘I honestly have no idea what the differentnplans were. They never brought it up or offered to educate anybody.’
Benefits are flexible which is great: - able to choose the amount of coverage you need - able to buy/sell up to 5 vacation days/year
Average Health/Dental/Glasses for a company that size. Good stock bonus except the stock is going in the tank and you can't sell for 2 years.
Employee share purchase plan is good. Vacation is average. AMAZING parental leave benefits (6 months top up for moms, 4 month top up for dads). Health benefits seem average or below average. I was in the actuarial study program which provided great incentives to take and pass exams. Employee discount on insurance is a nice perk!
Medical Benefits limits are ok even if you select best package. Worst mandatory benefit is long term disability which employees have to fully fund. Thousands of dollars out of pocket because so many people are on long term and short term disability.
on par with the standard insurance companies in canada.
Flexible Time, Work from home, vacation
The benefits package overall is good. I wish there was an optional for 100% coverage. The highest is 90%. Massage allowance is really low, only 500 per year.
Benefits are decent, but not the best. Vacation is good. Would be nice if benefits were increased to the max or no deductibles.
They have a really great benefits package with a lot of options and you can buy more vacation time.
