‘It covers a bit, but definitely not enough.’
A Health Spending Account for things like glasses would be nice. Stock options for Innodata (Agility's parent company) would be nice too.
Medical and Dental benefits provided at no cost to employee
Good: Health insurance covers most medication and expenses at 80%, with some at 50%. It does start on day one. Mental health benefits were increased during the pandemic and HR has provided lots of information on EAP resources. Services like optometrist, physical therapy, etc. are often 100% covered until maxed out. Benefits are easy to access and accepted by most providers. Bad: Surprisingly, glasses coverage is non-existent. Not always clear why some drugs are at 50% instead of 80%. Meh: Time off is below average for the industry, as is the retirement match. Disability coverage is taken off your paycheck every month.
Well rounded benefits, and RSP plan
a Good benefit package overall
Best things: Health Insurance, Sick Leave
I used benefits and they were covered and when I was no longer there I got a bill for 100% of my services. AND I was 100% supposed to be covered.
Benefits start from day 1 to give new hires peace of mind. Great for families!
They offer it right when you start so you don't have to wait for your benefits to kick on. However, the dental and eye isn't high coverage and their staff sits looking at a computer all day so glasses should be included.
Agility PR Solutions pays your base premiums on your behalf, leaving you only having to pay into things like long term disability, etc.
