Paternity leave for fathers provides some nice flexibility for the mother to return to work earlier if she chooses to.

They are both not long enough. Paternity leave especially. Should be at least as long as maternity leave.

The only way a Maternity leave is worth taking at AECOM is if you have 10+ years of Service. Otherwise you get your year off with no additional top up. One Senior Director was paid her Full Salary for the entire year off, just so that she would return after her Mat Leave. There is no Paternity Leave or upside to taking it.
