Job Descriptions:

The position of Kettle Operator is responsible for producing Del Monaco Specialty Foods Finished Products per recipe guidelines while following good food safety and HACCP standards.

Specific Job Functions:

Audits prep pulls per work order

Clean and sanitize kettles

Process work orders according to instructions

Monitor temperatures and perform temperature checks

Gets approval from Kettle Supervisor to connect hose to Hot Fill Machine pump once product has finished cooking

Responsible for notifying QC for verification of product specification compliance

Operates prep kettles and steam kettles

Operates Variable Frequency Driver (VFD) controls

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the Kettle Supervisor and has no direct reports

Required Experience:

Food Handling experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to operate in fast pace production environment

Able to multi-task

GMP’s and HACCP trained (No certification required)

Good Organizing Skills

Basic English language skills

Basic Math skills
