    I worked at eBay Enterprise

    Pros

    Great pay and benefits.
My immediate supervisor was very concerned about work/life balance.
Flexible hours and ability to work from home.

    Cons

    Upper management seemed very confused.
Corporate would hand tie specific locations.
As a company they seem to be heading south as there are continual layoffs.
eBay proper doesn't care about them.

    Pros

Compensation and Benefits were very good.

    Cons

HR is remote and felt unreachable. Some managers were unreasonable and "profiled" their employees based on non work metrics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Step up the leadership of ground level management so they are not just a boss.

I have been working at eBay Enterprise

    Pros

People are nice and friendly. Office is good. Compensation and benefits are good. They share open positions with internal regularly. You have priority for interview.

    Cons

Limited workforce. Feedback from clients are not good at least in APAC. Talk big, but it's just talk, lacking actions.

    I worked at eBay Enterprise

    Pros

the people who worked there were quality and driven individuals with a passion to innovate and excel forward.

    Cons

most of these ideas were stuffed down due to upper management. New ideas were "said" to be encouraged, but no follow through would occur. Because of the takeover and muting of innovation within the office, the company morale declined significantly, especially with unattainable financial projections with little actualized numbers behind it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

walk your talk. be real, take responsibility for poor decisions.

I worked at eBay Enterprise full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Team collaboration is a big deal at eBay Enterprise. If you are able to develop solid relationships and navigate the social/political waters, you will do fine. Most managers are good about developing a solid relationship with their teams and assuming a mentor role. For the most part, management is good at developing people. The work is meaningful and challenging.

    Cons

The culture is still reminiscent of the GSI days. While eBay Inc. has tried hard to bring eBay Enterprise under their umbrella the cultural differences are just to vast. Gossip is the norm and if you fall outside of the social group you will find yourself isolated. There were some changes made but the churn and burn culture still remains. Work/life balance is nonexistent. If you are not in the Corp office, be prepared to say goodbye to your family at Thanksgiving until the holiday rush is over. Seven day work weeks and 12+ hour days are the norm during Q4. If you are in an exempt level role they do expect you to be plugged in via your phone or laptop during your "down time". It is an expectation that you are readily available to field calls and emails from internal clients and leadership during evening hours and even while on vacation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try hard to understand the cultural challenges that are poisoning the work environment. To many high performers burn out and find themselves pulled under by it.
