I have been working at Wendy's part-time for more than 3 years

Pros – Sometimes a lot of people call in so you get more hours than you were scheduled.

Cons – There is too much favouritism and if you are not liked you will not get many hours. Plus only the daytime staff get benefits.

Advice to Senior Management – Stop the favouritism it's annoying.

Advice to Senior Management – Provide better training, as a fourteen and fifteen year old at my first job I found myself unsure and scared to ask for further training as I was often ignored when I requested help. Untrained employees who make mistakes are often yelled at, a painful experience to watch as I see new trainees flounder.

Cons – Expectations are too high and not consisten for all managers on same level.

Advice to Senior Management – Expect the same level of work out of each manager - do not show favouritism, especially to the female managers.

Pros – Moved from cleaning up tables, trays to salad prep, then french fries, drinks and finally cashier relatively quickly.

Cons – Worker's on the grill tend to stay there and not like other staff moving into that station.

Pros – owners of the franchise are very caring, not only about their business, but also about their people. And they are very charitable

Cons – there are no cons, I love my job

Pros – Was part of a good team, Hours were reasonable, Low stress job. Training was quick and effective. We always had the people we needed, as it was easy to replace if someone left.

Cons – Management clearly did not care about our health. We were working in a smoke-filled store after the shed burned down.
